The City of Olathe Fire Department Mobile Integrated Healthcare (MIH) Network received the 2016 Thomas H. Muehlenbeck Award for Excellence in Local Government from the Alliance for Innovation. The prestigious award was presented at the annual Transforming Local Government Conference held in St. Paul, Minn. June 15-17.
Olathe residents and visitors using the city’s trail system now have another tool to keep them safe. The City of Olathe has installed new 911 trail markers every two-tenths of a mile throughout the 23 mile trail system.
The City of Olathe received two Blue Pencil & Gold Screen Awards from the National Association of Government Communicators at its annual Communications School June 7-9 in Washington D.C. The 2015 Budget Infographic received an Award of Excellence in the Infographic category. The Diverging Diamond Interchange video also received an Award of Excellence in the Educational Programs category.
