United Way of Greater Kansas City
2008 "Outstanding Resource Investment Award"
The United Way of Greater Kansas City has presented Erin Vader, Employee Development Coordinator for the City of Olathe, with their 2008 Outstanding Resource Investment Award. The award was presented to Erin on April 8, 2008, at the United Way Community Celebration. This is the first time the United Way has presented this award, which recognizes outstanding volunteer contributions to the United Way.
As part of the allocations process Vader has served as a chair of the United Way's Family and Neighborhood Issues Team for the past two years, assisted with other United Way initiatives, and served on the City of Olathe's employee United Way Committee since 2004. "I am honored to be recognized by such a wonderful organization," said Vader. "The United Way touches the lives of so many people and I'm proud to be a part of it."
