2008 "Gold Peak Performance Award"

On July 22, 2009, the National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) announced that Olathe's two water treatment facilities have received 2008 Gold Peak Performance Awards, honoring the two facilities' achievement of 100% compliance with its National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits for 2008.
