The Mayor and Councilmembers of the City of Olathe are elected to serve four-year, staggered terms.  Every two years, during the spring of odd numbered years (next election - 2013), the City of Olathe conducts elections.

Qualified Electors within the City of Olathe may submit a Candidate's Declaration of Intent form to begin the process of seeking office.  The Declaration Forms and filing fees are submitted to the City Clerk's Office.  For more information, please contact the City Clerk's Office at (913) 971-8521.

Elections will be held for the following positions in 2013:

Council-At-Large, Ward 3 and Ward 4

Filing Deadline:  January 22, 2013 - Noon

Primary Election:  February 26, 2013 - If required

General Election:  April 2, 2013
