No Soliciting Ordinance

The City of Olathe does not require a permit for soliciting door-to-door for either residential property or business property.  There are some limitations, notably the solicitation is limited between the hours of 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.   If a No Soliciting sticker is posted, solicitors are not allowed upon the premises.

The City's code does not specify the size or shape of the No Soliciting sticker.  The City Clerk's Office distributes No Soliciting stickers free of charge.  These may be picked up in the City Clerk's Office, 100 E. Santa Fe, or mailed if the City Clerk's Office is provided with a self-addressed, stamped envelope.  Or download a printable copy of the No Soliciting Sticker.
