Rick Miller serves as Director for the Johnson County K-State Research and Extension Office located in Olathe. The Extension program is a partnership of USDA, K-State, and Johnson County providing informal, non-credit, adult and youth programming in the subject matter areas of Agriculture, Horticulture, 4-H Youth Development, Family and Consumer Sciences, and Community Development. Rick has been the Director since 1995 and prior to that was Agriculture Agent in both Johnson and Kiowa Counties in Kansas. Rick graduated from Lincoln University with a B.S. in Natural Resource Management and later from Kansas State University with a Masters in Adult Education. Rick lives with his wife Pam, son Cory, and daughter Ivi in Spring Hill.
