Olathe Goals:
- Continue providing the high level of services residents expect and deserve, despite the slowed economic growth we’re experiencing and do it without raising taxes. The Council must continue meeting the challenges of our growing community including traffic flow across the highway as well as railroad crossings.
- Maintain the outstanding quality of life Olatheans currently experience, with continued emphasis on education, parks and public safety.
- Continue working to alleviate the traffic challenge by constructing a new interchange at Lone Elm and 159th Street and addressing the problems trains cause.
- Ensure a high standard of building development that ensures quality.
