Olathe Community Orchestra: Featuring ONWHS Senior

Yen-Ping Chen, this year's winner of the Olathe Community Orchestra's high school concerto competition, is set to appear with the orchestra. A senior at Olathe Northwest High School, Yen-Ping will perform the first movement of the Concerto No. 3 in G by Mozart.

The free concert will also include the Symphony No. 2, "Mysterious Mountain," by Alan Hovhaness; four dance episodes from "Rodeo" by Aaron Copland; and selections from "West Side Story" by Leonard Bernstein. A complimentary punch-and-cookies reception will be offered at intermission.
