2009 Budget Public Hearing

Olathe residents are encouraged to provide comments about the City's 2009 operating budget at the Tuesday, August 5 City Council meeting.  Public input is a critical part of the budget process.  A previous public hearing was held at the June 17 Council meeting. Comments also can be made at any time by e-mailing budgetcomments@olatheks.org or calling 913-971-8000.

The proposed 2009 budget focuses on maintaining essential services at levels residents expect with continued emphasis on residents' high priorities, transportation and public safety.
