This annual survey of Olathe citizens assesses the effectiveness of City services and performance. DirectionFinder® is a statistically valid survey performed by Olathe’s ETC Institute.
The performance dashboards below show the historical results for the Overall Citizen Satisfaction Index and the results for the most recent survey year for eleven key measures/questions from the survey (Note - Question 1a is shown in both Fire and Police and question 1c is show in both Parks & Recreation and Public Works). These eleven measures are combinded together to create the index that tracks overall Citizen Satisfaction. Each measure has a target goal that is determined by using a three year rolling average. The target is represented in the green area of the gauge by a black line. Warning (yellow) represents a statistically significant drop of -3% below the target goal. Alarm (red) represents a statistically significant drop of -3% or more below the warning.
