All installations shall comply with the appropriate sections of the 2000 International Residential Code, the 2000 International Plumbing Code, and the 2000 International Fuel Gas Code.
715.1 Sewage Backflow. Where the flood level rims of plumbing fixtures are below the elevation of the manhole cover of the next upstream manhole in the public sewer, such fixtures shall be protected by a backwater valve installed in the building drain, branch of the building drain or horizontal branch serving such fixtures. Plumbing fixtures having flood level rims above the elevation of the manhole cover of the next upstream manhole in the public sewer shall not discharge through a backwater valve.
Elevations will be verified from a plot plan with elevations or an elevation certificate from a licensed surveyor (provided by the permit applicant).
Sewer: This inspection is for the piping outside the building connecting the building drain to the public sewer.
Sewer partial: This inspection is for a section of sewer line as described above.
Underslab plumbing: This inspection is for plumbing that will be buried under the structure or building.
Gas line Repair: This inspection is for a gas line that required repair due to maintenance issues.
Gas line complete: This inspection is for a gas line installation.
Plumbing Final: This inspection is for when the plumbing is complete.
