A firefighting career is exciting and rewarding. Firefighter duties include, but are not limited to: response to fire alarms, medical emergencies, hazardous material incidents, urban search and rescue and other calls to protect life and property; to participate in fire prevention activities and training; and to maintain fire station and firefighting equipment.
