Location: 100 W Santa Fe
Boot provided by City of Olathe
Celebrating five governors who lived in Olathe, City of Governors captures these men in realistic, nostalgic portraits. Below the portraits, street scenes recall Olathe’s early days. In 1961, former Kansas Governor John Anderson, Jr., who is featured on the boot’s front, outfitted the other 49 governors with Hyer boots made in Olathe.
