Proud Past is a collaborative piece designed by Lora Simms and painted by students. Simms says the Welcome Home! Cowboy Boots project was a good way to get students involved in Olathe's 150th birthday celebration. Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop and Farm provided the inspiration for the boot design.
