Safety is our # 1 priority

We work every day to ensure the safety of our citizens and our employees.

     

The City safety team is comprised of managers from different departments throughout the City. The safety includes:

  • Karan Johnson-Director of Neighborhood and Human Services

  • William Sullivan-Major, Olathe Police Department
  • Kevin Corbett-Parks Superintendent
  • Shelby Teufel-City Manager Intern

The team is responsible for designing, implementing and overseeing safety programs and policies throughout the City.  The team is also active in the purchase of safety equipment and devices for our employees.
