Housing Authority - Waiting List

ParkviewParkview Manor (High-Rise) - WAITING LIST IS CURRENTLY CLOSED

  • Meets eligibility for a one bedroom unit.
  • Secured site with resident managers On-Duty 24 hours a day.
  • Applications taken (WHEN LIST IS OPEN) at 200 West Santa Fe, Olathe, Kansas
  • Applications taken (WHEN LIST IS OPEN) between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
  • Position on waiting list is based on date and time applied and if qualify for local working preference.
  • Time on waiting list could be a year or longer.
  • To remain on waiting list, applicants must return annual updates.
  • Families are responsible for notifying housing authority while on waiting list of the following changes:  address changes, disability, employment status and the number of hours a person is working weekly and community where they are working.

 Scattered Site 2Family Units - Public Housing and Section 8 -  WAITING LIST IS CURRENTLY CLOSED

  • Must meet eligibility requirements
  • Can be on both public housing and Section 8 waiting list
  • Position on waiting list based on date and time applicant applied and if they qualify for local working preference.
  • Applicants with a local working preference may wait up to three years before receiving assistance.
  • Families are responsible for notifying housing authority of the following changes while on waiting list: address changes, disability, employment status and the number of hours a person is working weekly and community where they are working.
