Legal Department

The Legal Department has two main functions: 

                (1) Providing legal counsel and representation to the City Council, City Manager and City staff; and

                (2) Prosecuting violations of the Municipal Code.

 This is accomplished through a staff of 8 attorneys and 7 support staff.

 The staff is divided into two areas:  The civil staff and the prosecution staff.
