The Prosecutor's Office should not be confused with the Johnson County District Attorney's Office or the Johnson County District Court. While both are located in Olathe, the District Court has jurisdiction over cases such as serious criminal offenses, divorce and domestic relations, damage suits, probate and administration of estates, guardianships, conservatorships, care of the mentally ill, juvenile matters, landlord/tenant cases and small claims.
