Tragic Prelude

Explore life on the Kansas and Missouri border during the Border and Civil War: for the military, for jayhawkers and bushwhackers, and for civilians caught in the middle. Students may learn how to fire a cannon and write letters ‘back home” with an ink pen!  Includes a stagecoach ride.

Growing Up Victorian

Gives our youngest students a chance to experience life as a child of the mid-1880s. Farm chores and period games help students make comparisons with their lives today.  Includes a stagecoach ride.
