Zoning Regulations

Common Zoning Violations:

Commercial Vehicles

  • Large vehicles rated at one ton or more, over 20' in length and 7' in height

  • Hauling or box trailers over 12' in total length fence

  • Construction equipment: loaders, bobcats, etc

  • View entire ordinance 18.60.130

Fences/Residential

  • Maximum 6' in side and rear yards
  • Finished surface facing neighbor (posts inside)
  • Common materials
  • No permits required
  • No electric or barbed wire

Parking in the Yard

  • Passenger vehicles parked on the grass
