Diversity Committee

Diverse FacesThe Olathe Diversity Committee is charged with enhancing a welcoming diverse community and workplace.

Currently, the Diversity Committee consists of three subcommittees:

  • Employment Practices: Focuses on the hiring and retention practices by the City of Olathe to encourage more diversity in city government.

  • Education, Publicity and Community Outreach: Promotes an understanding of diversity and encourages acceptance within the community and workplace.

  • Performance Measurement: Examines diversity acceptance versus discrimination within the work environment and community.
