Free Concert in the Park Friday, July 11

 

This Friday's free summer concert in the park will feature Sam Bush and Chris Hillman. The concert begins at 7 p.m., Friday, July 11 at Frontier Park, 15501 Indian Creek Parkway. Families of all ages are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and blankets to relax and unwind. The concert is free; however, refreshments will be available for purchase.
The legendary Chris Hillman will open the concert with his living history of popular music. Chris has been described as a folkie who wound up in the Rock ‘n' Roll Hall of Fame. Sam Bush will then take the stage to perform his bluegrass music. Bush was a founding member of the New Grass Revivial, and has shared the stage with such performers as Emmylou Harris, Lyle Lovett, and David Grisman.

The one remaining concert in this summer's series begins at 7 p.m. on July 25 at Frontier Park and features Liverpool, a Beatles tribute band.
