The City of Olathe is proud to present the 2013 FREE Summer Concert Series. Families and music enthusiasts will enjoy award-winning entertainment on select Fridays throughout the summer at Frontier Park.
The season kicks off on Friday, June 7 at 7:00 p.m. with local favorite Monster’s Ink. Then, Sam Bush takes center stage bringing his bluegrass sound back to Olathe. A founding member of the New Grass Revival, Bush has been called a modern day Bill Monroe. Throughout his career, he has acknowledged tradition while pushing mountain music into the realms of rock, jazz, reggae, and Afro-pop. He has shared a stage with some of the biggest names in acoustic and folk music, including Emmylou Harris, Lyle Lovett, and David Grisman.
Arrive early for best seating and to visit the concession stand (all proceeds go to local charity) and sponsor booths.
