Beginning Monday, October 21, BNSF will be closing the railroad crossing between 159th Street and Old U.S. 56 for routine maintenance.
The crossing will be closed around 8:30 a.m. and will reopen by Wednesday, October 23rd, once work is completed. Message boards and detour signs will be posted during this time to inform drivers of alternative routes.
Although this railroad crossing is designated as a Quiet Zone, please note that trains are required to blow their horns during maintenance activities.
