Snow Operations Continue, Power Outage Reported

Crews continue 24/7 snow operations with large trucks focused on main roadways (arterials and collector streets) and smaller trucks moving into residential areas.  Road conditions are slick and drivers can expect windrows (piled snow) at intersections.  This is unavoidable given the amount of snow accumulation.

Snow Removal Directed to Arterial and Residential Streets

Current weather information indicates an additional accumulation of 1/2 to 1 inch through the afternoon of Feb. 26.  The next band of snow fall is predicted to begin at approximately 2 A.M. Wednesday, Feb. 27, with accumulation up to 1 1/2 inches.

Snow plow trucks will service both arterial and residential streets.  Crews will provide service 24/7 as long as necessary.  We will make every effort to get neighborhoods passable as quickly as possible, but this could be Friday.
