Beginning Monday, April 28, the Kansas Department of Transportation will begin a pavement replacement project on 169/K-7 over I-35 between the northbound and southbound interchange exit ramps in Olathe. This project will require the closure of northbound and southbound K-7/169 exit ramps through mid-July, weather permitting. A marked detour will be provided, and access to local businesses will be maintained throughout the project duration.
Intersection improvements are scheduled to begin this week at the intersection of US 169 & 159th Street.
Beginning this spring, Olathe residents can expect more street maintenance work throughout the city.
Beginning Thursday, April 10, Pflumm Road (at 127th Street) will be reduced to one lane in each direction. This lane closure is due to the 127th Street Improvement Project. Residents traveling in the area should expect delays.
