We have much to celebrate!  Thanks to the great generosity of our Olathe community and the commitment of our dedicated Mayor's Christmas Tree Fund Board, our 2012 campaign exceeded $100,000 - its most ambitious goal yet, with donations totaling $107,724.17.  The Mayor's Christmas Tree Fund has no overhead expenses, allowing 100 percent of donations to directly benefit the following fourteen charities serving Olathe children in need:

Catholic Charities / Children's Shoe Fund / Court-Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)
Cypress Recovery / El Centro / Health Partnership Clinic of Johnson County
Johnson County Interfaith Hospitality Network / Kansas Foster and Adoptive Children
KidsTLC / KVC Behavioral HealthCare / Mission Southside
Olathe Public Schools Foundation / SAFEHOME / Salvation Army

For more information about our 2012 beneficiaries, please see our Mayor's Christmas Tree Fund brochure.  You can also contact the Mayor's Office at 971-8500 or by email

While our campaign runs from October 1 - December 31 each year, donations are welcome year-round.  Checks should be made payable to the Mayor's Christmas Tree Fund and sent to: City of Olathe, Office of the Mayor,      P. O. Box 768, Olathe, KS 66051-0768.  Donors also have the option of making contributions on line using a credit or debit card.*  Donations are tax-deductible, and all donors will receive an acknowledgement of their contribution.

*  On-line donations are made with a credit/debit card through PayPal (you do not need a PayPal account to donate).  PayPal levies a transaction fee of 2.9% + 30 cents, which will be automatically deducted from your on-line donation.
