Consolidated Solid Waste Collection

One Day to Remember

 

The City provides residents with one consolidated collection day for all solid waste services - trash, yard waste and (bi-weekly) recycling. Yard waste and recycling continue to be collected separately from household trash.

Residents can continue to help keep solid waste collection efficient by:

  • having your SmartCart at the curb by 8 a.m.,
  • making sure the arrows on the SmartCart point toward the street,
  • allowing 3 feet between the SmartCart and other objects,
  • fitting all trash in the SmartCart,
  • keeping yard waste to a minimum, and
  • reducing your household's trash through recycling.
