Directions

The City of Olathe sponsors a Farmers' Market to provide a means by which individuals may sell primarily regionally grown fresh produce and/or plants and fresh flowers. The intent of the market is to offer primarily for retail sale only produce that can be grown in this geographic area and is not refined and/or made into another product. This market is not intended to operate as a wholesale outlet.  Questions regarding the Farmers' Market can be made at (913) 971-8563. 


 

 Country Financial Presents the 2nd Anuual Chef Challenge!

Returning by popular demand to the Olathe Farmers’ Market is our COUNTRY Chef Challenge! On August 25th and September 1st six teams of Olathe Culinary Arts students will create a dish using market ingredients for our judges. The three final teams will compete to win $3,000 in scholarships funded by COUNTRY Financial!
NEW this year, Graphic Design program students will compete for $2,000 in scholarships by creating a unique reusable bag design.  The winner will be announced on August 25th and their design will be printed on market bags provided by COUNTRY Financial!  The Olathe North DECA students will also be flexing their business skills by providing coffee. Stop by the Olathe Farmers’ Market to take in the sights and smells.
