Summer History Camp
Children entering grades 2-7 (fall 2007) are invited to join us for a week of history filled fun! Each week will offer a different theme and different age level.
Cost is $72/child/week (Olathe residents) or $80/child/week (non residents) for Storybook Camp; $135/child/week (Olathe residents) or $148/child/week (non residents) for other camps. Children must be entering the grade being offered.

Welcome to the Old West! Saddle up cowboys and cowgirls ad learn about Kansas cowboys. |

Hit the Trail - Discover the history and excitement of the Oregon, California and Santa Fe Trails. Pan for gold, pack a Prairie Schooner, learn how the pioneers cooked their way to Oregon and find out what life was like for children on the wagon trails. |

7th Grades |
Civil War on the Border - Learn how the Civil War actually started on the Kansas/Missouri border! Discover the sills of a drummer boy, a soldier and scout. Drill march and learn about the cavalry, artillery and infantry. Try your hand at Victorian era crafts and find out what life was like on the home front during the Civil War. |
