Olathe Traffic Alerts Week of  May 12 thru May 16, 2008
167th St., west of Ridgeview 167th St. west of Ridgeview will be closed beginning the week of April 14th until the end of August.  Detours will be provided.
College Blvd., Ridgeview Rd. to Woodland Rd. The College Blvd. is now open to traffic.  It will continue to remain a construction zone for a while longer so traffic may be reduced to one lane either way during work periods.  This will reduce the speed from 45 mph to 35 mph during these periods.  Completion of all work will be next spring.
Dennis St., west of Wardcliff Dr., east of Palmer Drive Dennis Street, west of Ward Cliff Drive east of Palmer Drive will be closed for bridge repairs beginning March 1st until August 9th.  Detours are provided.  There will be intermittent lane closures while the sidewalk, median, and traffic signal work is in progress.                                                                                                                                                          
Drury Lane, Ridgeview Road, west to Church parking lot Closed to through traffic.  Work on waterline installation will begin April 28 and is anticipated to end June 13.
I-35 at Lone Elm Rd. I-35 will be closed Friday night, May 30, 2008 at 10 pm for the demolition of the Lone Elm bridge over I-35.  Traffic will be detoured from 175th St. interchange east to US 169 then north to the 151st St. interchange.  Traffic will be open to at least one lane each direction by Saturday morning at 8 am.  All lanes will be open to traffic by Monday morning, June 2, 2008.
K-7, Spruce to 1500' north During completion, there will be intermittent lane closures at the intersection of   K-7 and Spruce.
Lone Elm Rd., 151st St. to 163rd Str. Lone Elm from 151st St to 163rd St is closed to through traffic for construction of the I-35 and Lone Elm Rd Interchange project.  Construction will be completed by June 2010.  !59th St is closed to traffic at Lone Elm both east and west.
Lone Elm Rd., 175th St. south to 178th Terr. Improvements to Lone Elm Rd from 175th south to 178th Terr. will continue until July 2008.  Detours will be provided.
Loula St. Church St. to Mahaffie St. (east railroad crossing) Loula has been closed for construction of the BNSF overpass structure.  It will remain closed until construction next summer allows for reconstruction of the street.
Mur-Len Rd. at 139th St. Northbound and southbound Mur-Len Rd. at 139th St. will be reduced to one lane at times for median construction between 8:30am and 4:00p.m.
Mur-Len Rd., 167th St. to 175th St. Mur-Len Rd. between 167th St. to 175th St. will be closed around April 14th until end of August.  Detours will be provided.
Park St., Railroad crossing to Church St. Park St will be closed for the BNSF project and will remain closed until next summer.  Detours to Santa Fe St. for both vehicular and pedestrian traffic will be marked.
Ridgeview Road, Loula to Sheridan Intermittent two block closures of the southbound lane for waterline installation.  Detours provided to the west.  Work begins April 28 and is anticipated to end June 13.
