Block Party Procedures are as follows: Residents desiring to have a block party must notify the city clerk at (913) 971-8600 to acquire a permit.
Traffic
Street Lights -
All street light concerns can be reported through the City of Olathe by calling 913-971-8513 or contact Streetlights. If the street light is owned by KCPL or Westar we will forward the report.
It is important to include the following information when reporting a streetlight problem:
1) the residential address that the street light is located in front of and
2) the identification number on the pole.
Signs -
If a STOP sign is down, please call 971-5170 immediately with the following information:
1) name of the intersecting streets and
2) which direction of travel the stop sign was located in (i.e. northbound).
School Beacons/Crosswalks -
If a school beacon is out or not flashing on the appropriate days please let us know the name of school by calling 971-5170.

Signals -
If you have a concern about the operation of an existing signal please call 971-5180 and include: date and time of day you experienced the problem, your direction of travel, the lane you are traveling in, and both names of the intersecting streets.
