Project Scope:
This project is part of the annual Sanitary Sewer Maintenance Inflow & Infiltration (I&I) Reduction Program in the Capital Improvement Program (CIP).  This program was established to reduce the amount of I&I entering the sanitary sewer system.  The overall goal is to reduce the amount of I&I in the sanitary sewer flow for treatment at the City’s Wastewater Treatment Plants and to the Johnson County Wastewater Treatment Plant.  This project will include the installation of Cured-In-Place-Pipe (CIPP) for 13,386 lineal feet of gravity sanitary sewer mains throughout the city to reduce inflow, infiltration, and restore structural integrity.

Current Project Status:
This project began in September and will be finished by the end of 2011.
