Street Sweeping Program

The Streets Division is responsible for the sweeping of all public streets in Olathe, within the city there is approximately 1200 lane miles of streets and more than 1200 cul-de-sacs.

The City of Olathe has projected production measures for sweeping, Main Arterials and Collectors are to be swept on a Continuous Monthly Schedule. Residential streets are to be swept a minimum of three times each year. The City of Olathe Parking Lots are swept on a by-monthly rotation and the Olathe Ball Parks are swept twice a year, March and September.
