The charro developed customs, dress, music and equestrian skills later borrowed by the American Cowboy. Jerry Diaz is a fourth generation charro continuing traditions established by his great grandfather and is a crowd favorite at the American Royal as well as the annual Denver Stock Show. Plenty of cowboys will be on hand to help celebrate fact and fiction with lots of activities. Lots of kids activities including stagecoach rides and pony rides help make this a one of kind celebration. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children, ages 5-11. All public parking is at Olathe North High School, 600 E. Prairie where a FREE shuttle will bring you to the Heritage Center at Mahaffie to begin your exploration of the Old West!
