City of Olathe Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Facility

Bring the family and enjoy the 15th Annual Fire Department Open House at Olathe Fire Station 1 (501 E. Old Hwy 56) on Sunday, October 12 from noon to 4 p.m.
All activities and refreshments are FREE. Hot dogs grilled by Atmos Energy.

Cemetery Tours are offered at 7:00pm, 7:30pm and 8:00pm. Tours will meet in the parking lot of Northview Elementary School, 905 N. Walker. Parking is limited this evening because of Parent-Teacher Conferences. Tickets will be distributed each evening beginning at 6:00pm, until gone. Each tour is limited to 40 people. Tours will feature 'Ladies of Olathe' and will last approximately 45 minutes. Tours are free, donations accepted. This evening is encouraged for Scout Groups.
Cemetery tours are offered at 7:00pm, 7:30pm, and 8:00pm at the Olathe City Cemetery. Tours will meet in the parking lot of Northview Elementary 905 N. Walker. Tickets will be distributed beginning at 6pm, until gone. The tours will feature the 'Ladies of Olathe'. Tours last approximately 45 minutes. Tours are free, donations accepted, and refreshments will be served.

Disability Mentoring Day and Job Fair
Monday, October 20; 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (check‐in from 8:15 – 9:00 a.m.)
This is a metropolitan Kansas City area event designed to promote career development for job seekers with disabilities through hands‐on career exploration, job shadowing, and internship or mentee/mentor relationships as well as a job fair with Kansas City area employers.
