New Taxes and Fees Website
The Budget Office has created a new Taxes and Fees webpage to help you better understand your taxes and fees in Olathe. The page includes information about major revenue sources for the city, property tax, sales tax, City fees, franchise frees, transient guest tax, and utility rates. Please visit our new website and let us know if you would like any additional information about any of these topics.

2012 Budget, Capital Improvement Plan, and Fee Resolution Adopted
On August 16, the City Council voted to adopt the 2012 Budget, 2012-2016 Capital Improvement Plan, and Fee resolution!
You are invited to contribute to your 2012 City budget! The City of Olathe will host an e-Town Hall event, encouraging Olathe citizens to get involved in the 2012 budget process. On Tuesday, July 5, City Manager Michael Wilkes presented the proposed 2012 budget to the City Council. As the owners of this budget, we need your input!
