WinterFest featuring the Mayor's Christmas Tree ceremony will be held Friday, November 30. It will NOT be held Friday, December 7 as the Olathe Link indicated. 

WinterFest, featuring the Mayor's Christmas Tree Lighting

November 30, 5:30-8:30 p.m. - Olathe City Hall-R.R. Osborne Plaza, 100 E. Santa Fe

This popular annual event features the music of local choirs and music groups, Santa Claus' arrival, ice sculpting and refreshments. Proceeds raised from the Mayor's Christmas Tree Fund benefit area agencies that help people in need in Olathe.  Donations on behalf of the charities may be made: c/o Olathe Noon Optimist; P.O. Box 853; Olathe, KS 66051-0853 (a 501c3 organization).
