Welcome to the "Olathe Recreation Newsletter." Our newsletter is filled with updates and reminders about the City's ActiveLife classes and programs for Adults, Youth, 50 - Plus and Special Populations as well as Special Events sponsored by the City of Olathe. It's our way of keeping you abreast of all the wonderful activities to do in our beautiful community of Olathe. Enjoy!

Youth Activities

Intro. to Basketball, for kindergarten students, will be at 9 a.m. on Saturdays, beginning March 1 at Mill Creek Center, 311 E. Park. There will be eight 55-minute classes. Deadline: Two weeks prior to the first class. Resident cost: $50.

Rookie Basketball, for first graders, will be at 10 a.m. on Saturdays, beginning March 1 at Mill Creek Center, 311 E. Park St. There will be eight 55-minute classes. Deadline: Two weeks prior to the first class. Resident cost: $50.

Lilliput Basketball, for second graders, will be at 11 a.m. on Saturdays, beginning March 1 at Mill Creek Center, 311 E. Park St. There will be eight 55-minute classes. Deadline: Two weeks prior to the first class. Resident cost: $50.

Bantam Basketball, for third graders, will be at noon on Saturdays, beginning March 1 at Mill Creek Center, 311 E. Park St. There will be eight 55-minute classes. Deadline: Two weeks prior to the first class. Resident cost: $50.

High School Boys Basketball, for grades 10, 11 and 12, will play from 1:15 - 4:15 p.m., beginning Sunday, March 23, at Mill Creek Center, 311 E. Park St. Seven games will be played. Deadline to register: Three weeks prior to the first game. Cost for team of residents: $340. Reversible jerseys: $17 each.

Adult Activities 

Men's Open Basketball will play from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m., beginning Sunday, March 23 at Mill Creek Center, 311 E. Park St. Deadline: Three weeks prior to the start of the first game. Cost for team of residents: $340. Reversible jerseys: $17 each.

50+Programs
