City of Olathe Parks and Recreation Department offers the following aquatic classes:The following Session II aquatic classes will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning Feb. 26 at Frontier Trail Junior High School, 15300 W. 143rd St.

Parent and Child (Level A), for six months to three-year-olds, will be at 6:15 p.m. for eight 30-minute lessons. Deadline: One week prior to the first class. Resident cost: $45.

Young Tot Swimming Lessons, for three to five-year-olds, will begin at 6:15 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. for eight 30-minute lessons. Deadline: One week prior to the first class. Resident cost: $45.

Level I (Intro. to Water Skills), for ages five and older, will be at 6:45 p.m. for eight 30-minute lessons. Deadline: One week prior to the first class. Resident cost: $45.

Level II (Fundamental Aquatic Skills), for ages five and older, will be at 7:15 p.m. for eight 45-minute lessons. Deadline: One week prior to the first class. Resident cost: $47.

Level III (Stroke Development), ages six and older, will be at 7:15 p.m. for eight 45-minute lessons. Deadline: One week prior to the first class. Resident cost: $47.

Level IV (Stroke Improvement), ages six and up, will be at 8 p.m. for eight 45-minute lessons. Deadline: One week prior to the first class. Resident cost: $47.

Level V (Stroke Refinement), ages six and older, will be at 8 p.m. for eight 45-minute lessons. Deadline: One week prior to the first class. Resident cost: $47.

Adult Beginner, ages 16 and older, will be at 8 p.m. for eight 45-minute lessons. Deadline: One week prior to the first class. Resident cost: $47.

Aqua-Fit classes are designed to improve flexibility, tone body muscles and improve the cardiovascular system for individuals ages 16 and older.  There will be 13 one-hour classes at 7 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays, beginning March 26 at Frontier Trail Junior High School, 15300 W. 143 St. The registration deadline is the Wednesday prior to the start of class.
