2014 Budget Planning Process Website
The 2014 budget development process has begun! View the 2014 Budget website to keep updated and involved in the budget development process. The website includes the full budget calendar, presentations, documents, frequently asked questions, and information about how to submit input into the Budget process.
The Budget Office welcomes your input on the 2014 budget! You can submit input and suggestions as we develop the budget through email or phone calls. You may also submit ideas on the City’s Facebook page. We will notify you of future opportunities to provide input.
2013 Budget Book and Budget-In-Brief
The 2013 Budget Book and Budget-in-Brief are available on the Budget website. The Book includes detailed revenue and expenditure information; Departmental expenditures; goals, accomplishments and performance measures; and an overview of the Capital Improvement Plan. The 2013 Budget Book has been awarded the Government Finance Officers Association Distinguished Budget Presentation, along with the Special Performance Measures Recognition.
Save the Date!
The next City Council meeting regarding the 2014 budget is Tuesday, March 19, at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall (100 E. Santa Fe). Dr. Chris Kuehl, Economist, will speak about economic trends which could impact the City’s budget. The Budget Office will also present the results of a Council budget survey which will assist in the development of the 2014 budget.
