Remember When: Fire & Life Safety for Older Adults

Representatives from the Olathe Fire Department will be present during the Johnson County Health Department Multiphasic Clinics in Olathe to share fire and life safety information with Older Adults. At the event:

* Safety Packs will be given away to participants in our Injury Prevention Survey!
* Safety Packs will include items to immediately assist in the prevention of unintentional injuries.
* Completed surveys will also go into a drawing for several door prizes to be given away at each location!

Make plans to stop by the Olathe Fire Department display and complete a survey to receive your Safety Pack!!
Our schedule is as follows:

Jan. 17, 10 a.m. to noon at the Olathe Towers, 1425 E. Collegeway Dr., Olathe

Feb. 13, 10 a.m. to noon at Ridgeview Village I, 11830 Sunset Dr., Olathe
Feb. 21, 10 a.m. to noon at Parklview Manor, 300 N. Chestnut, Olathe

Mar. 12, 10 a.m. to noon at Poplar Court, 519 E. Poplar, Olathe

Apr. 17, 10 a.m. to noon at Ridgeview Village II, 11860 Sunset Dr, Olathe

Funds for the Safety Packs and door prizes are made available by a grant from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. The Olathe Fire Department is pleased to be in partnership with the Johnson County Health Department Education Division and the American Red Cross.
