The City of Olathe sponsors Farmers' Market to provide a means by which individuals may sell primarily regionally grown fresh produce and/or plants and fresh flowers. The intent of the market is to offer primarily for retail sale only produce that can be grown in this geographic area and is not refined and/or made into another product.

Enterprise Bank and Trust presents the first Black Bob Bay Teen Bash (ages 10-15)  7-9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30. The evening will include food, games, prizes, swimming and more while helping a great local cause. This event is free all  you have to do is bring a school supply item to donate to the Olathe Public Schools Foundation for their back pack event.

The Olathe FREE Summer Concert series began in 2000. Each year it showcases top quality, cutting edge artists featuring a variety of family friendly genres of music. Thanks to the support from the population at large and our generous sponsors, we are accomplishing that goal. Over the past 13 years the Olathe Parks and Recreation Department has presented local, regional, national and international performers.

Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop and Farm 1200 Kansas City Road Olathe, KS stays open late with FREE admission! Kansas Wheat Harvest - Come help with farm chores and play old-fashioned games. Some activities may require an extra fee. www.mahaffie.org or call 913.971.5111 for more information.

Preschools, daycares and summer youth groups are invited to attend Day Out with Frank & Ella in June and July at Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop and Farm 1200 Kansas City Road Olathe, KS. 1860s hands on activities, a stagecoach ride and a craft are included with admission. Cost is $5/youth, accompaying adults are free. A different theme of history will be featured each week. Kansas Wheat Harvest - help with such chores as feeding the animals and flailing wheat.
