The City of Olathe sponsors Farmers' Market to provide a means by which individuals may sell primarily regionally grown fresh produce and/or plants and fresh flowers. The intent of the market is to offer primarily for retail sale only produce that can be grown in this geographic area and is not refined and/or made into another product.
On Tuesday, July 2nd Olathe Parks & Recreation will be taking over Community America Ballpark to support the Kansas City T-Bones. Group Discount tickets are available for any team, family or individual, the group that sells the most tickets will be involved in the T-Bones Baseball Buddy pre-game. The second place group will select one individual to participate in the first pitch ceremony. Deadline to purchase tickets: one week prior to game day. Tickets are $10 and are available at Parks and Recreation.
The Olathe FREE Summer Concert series began in 2000. Each year it showcases top quality, cutting edge artists featuring a variety of family friendly genres of music. Thanks to the support from the population at large and our generous sponsors, we are accomplishing that goal. Over the past 13 years the Olathe Parks and Recreation Department has presented local, regional, national and international performers.
