The third annual COUNTRY Chef Challenge returns to the Olathe Farmers’ Market at 9 a.m. August 24th and 31st. Teams will create original dishes using ingredients from Olathe's very own Famers Market.  A panel of local celebrity judges will determine the winning two-student team, which will be awarded $1,400.

Preschools, daycares and summer youth groups are invited to attend Day Out with Frank & Ella in June and July at Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop and Farm 1200 Kansas City Road Olathe, KS. 1860s hands on activities, a stagecoach ride and a craft are included with admission. Cost is $5/youth, accompaying adults are free. A different theme of history will be featured each week. Best of Week includes your favorite living history activities.
