Summer Slam Fishing Contest

Want to compete in a fishing challenge that works with your hectic schedule?  Summer Slam is for you!

Each month of the summer will be a new challenge involving a new targeted species of fish.  At midnight on the first day of the month a unique identifier will be made available.  Each person registered will need to print the identifier and take it with them when fishing in a City of Olathe pond or lake.  When you catch the targeted species, you will have to take two pictures of the fish with the identifier.  One picture with the fish on the measuring board and one picture with the angler holding the fish and have enough background present to identify the Olathe Park in which the fish was caught.  Submit the pictures to the OPRD facebook page under the events tab and you could be in the running for cool prizes.  The best part about this challenge is that all proceeds benefit the OPRD scholarship fund!  Visit our Facebook page for complete rules and registration information.   Take the family fishing in Olathe and join the challenge today!
