The Olathe Parks and Recreation Department is in the process of developing a new 10 year master plan for our parks and recreation system. Community input is a valuable tool in this process and we’re asking for your help as we establish priorities for the future improvement of parks, recreation facilities, programs and services within the Olathe community. Join us in a community event when Too Cool to Drool returns Sunday, Sept. 8 at Black Bob Bay. You and your favorite pups are invited to a dog-only swim to close out another great aquatics season. Small dogs, 25 pounds or less, have the pool to themselves at 1 p.m. Bigger dogs can join at 2 p.m. »

Enterprise Bank and Trust presents the first Black Bob Bay Teen Bash (ages 10-15) 7-9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30. This event is free all you have to do is bring a school supply item to donate to the Olathe Public Schools Foundation for their back pack event. For more information call 971-8643. »

Mahaffie will host an All American Celebration on Thursday, July 11 where we will incorporate our planned Cowboy night and firework activities. The Olathe Civic Band will play a concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday July 11th. for the latest details and schedule of activities for Kansas Cowboys and 19th Century Fireworks. »
