Boy Scouts Dedicate Day to Olathe Parks

More than 500 boy scouts from the Red Tailed Hawk District will descend on Olathe to complete a variety of projects on Saturday, April 12.  The group will focus efforts on the Indian Creek Greenways Trail and adjacent parks. Projects will include trail clean-up, painting and other improvements along the trail. The scouts will also paint multiple barns and outbuildings at Ensor Farm, 18995 W. 183rd Street. A list of locations and projects is available through the City of Olathe’s Volunteers in the Parks Coordinator, Liz Newman, 913-971-9720.
