Requesting a Park Special Event Permit Form

For planning an event that will utilize an Olathe City Park (this action does not apply to individuals simply requesting a shelter or ballfield rental), the following proceedure will need to be completed:

1. Download our Park Special Event Permit Request Form (pdf document).
2. Fill out the form and return to the parks and recreation office located at 200 W. Santa Fe.  Mailing address is City of Olathe, Attn: Parks and Recreation, P.O. Box 768, Olathe KS 66051.
3. Parks and Recreation staff will review the application for availability of requested facilities and will assess fees and charges.  If the requested facility is available and the fees are agreed upon and paid, the event will be booked and a permit will be issued.
