Oregon Trail Park Renovation

Project Location/Limits:
Oregon Trail Park is located at 1100 S. Robinson, just south of Oregon Trail Jr. High School.

Project Scope:
Oregon Trail Park is a thirty year old park. Renovation of the project will add 2 additional baseball fields, reconstruction of the existing 2 fields, construction of a new concession/restroom facility, 2 new picnic shelters, new playground structures and renovation of the existing pond. Additional parking for 275 cars along with sidewalks and trails will also be included in the renovation. The sand volley ball area will be relocated but will remain a part of this park.

Current Project Status:
The design firm of Shafer, Kline and Warren, Inc. has been retained to provide the renovation design and drawings for the park. Surveying has been completed with construction drawings anticipated to be completed in mid October, 2007. Construction will follow and should be completed by late Fall 2008.
