Olathe Touch-A-Truck, ETC

Join us on at Frontier Park 15501 Indian Creek Parkway, Olathe Kansas for a fun filled day. You will be able to climb aboard excavators, dump trucks, backhoes, emergency vehicles, military vehicles, the Mahaffie Stagecoach and much more! In conjunction with Touch-A-Truck, ETC. is the HOPE walk. There will be a Carnival Like Atmosphere with games, food, entertainment, music, a raffle with incredible items for just $1 per ticket! Chris Cakes will be there with all you can eat Chris Cakes Pancakes and Sasuage for only $5.00 for adults and $4.00 for children under 12! Kids 2 and under eat free. In addition, there is an autograph session featuring local celebrities and our HEROES and a 2 mile walk along a paved path canopied in trees alongside a brook and over a beautiful wooden bridge! It will be a morning of fun for all ages that will provide you with memories that will last a lifetime! HOPE...TAKE THAT cANCER

The Olathe FREE Summer Concert series began in 2000. Each year it showcases top quality, cutting edge artists featuring a variety of family friendly genres of music. Thanks to the support from the population at large and our generous sponsors, we are accomplishing that goal. Over the past 13 years the Olathe Parks and Recreation Department has presented local, regional, national and international performers. Some of these artists are in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, have won numerous Grammy Awards, have written #1 Hits on the Billboard charts, won Blues Music Awards, Country Music Awards and are in the Kansas Music Hall of Fame. The series brings not only music to Olathe, but community giving. Each show a local charity is recognized and concert goers are encouraged to make donations. In the last 8 years more than $127,000 has been given back by the more than 15,000 a year attendees.
